Reacher is one of my favorite TV series, but it's also one of my favorite book series by Lee Child. Although the two movies starring Tom Cruise received plenty of criticism—mainly because he didn't physically match the Jack Reacher described in the books—I genuinely enjoyed them from the very beginning. Yes, Alan Ritchson is undoubtedly much closer to Lee Child's original vision of the character, but in my opinion Tom Cruise also gave an outstanding performance and perfectly captured Reacher's personality, intelligence, and determination.

So far, the series has released three seasons, while Season 4 premieres on August 12. I definitely plan to watch it and share my thoughts here through detailed episode-by-episode articles. I'll actually be on vacation when it premieres, but I'm sure I'll find a way to make it work!

For now, though, it's time to go back to where it all began. Today I'll be sharing my thoughts on the first three seasons, explaining what I loved, what stood out to me, and why I believe Reacher has become one of the most enjoyable action series of recent years.
