Andriy Mls Schevchenko

Andriy "mLs" Shevchenko is a prominent Ukrainian game designer and the Creative Director at 4A Games, a prominent Ukrainian-Maltese video game studio. Born in Kyiv, Ukraine, he holds a master's degree from the Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics. He began his professional path in video game development in 2005, serving for two years as a game designer at Kyiv's Games. He joined 4A Games in October 2007 and has spent nearly two decades contributing to the critically acclaimed, post-apocalyptic Metro franchise.In 2014, he relocated alongside a core group of studio staff to 4A Games' new headquarters in Malta, where he currently resides and work. He stepped into the role of Creative Director following the departure of the studio's co-founder, Andriy "PROF" Prokhorov, taking full leadership over the future of the series. He is currently directing the development of the highly anticipated fourth mainline installment, Metro 2039. Under his direction, the project emphasizes a return to the franchise's traditional, claustrophobic subway networks and explores detailed, hand-crafted "frozen narratives" driven by meticulous environmental storytelling
