Produced by Tanweer and COSMOTE TV, the six-episode series combines a crime-heist narrative with a dramatic story inspired by actual events. For her role in Rififi, Moumouri has spoken about a different kind of preparation from the one she had followed during much of her career. After Tsafoulias introduced her to the story, she researched the real family that provided the starting point for her character, looking for information and photographs that could help her understand the person she was portraying.Olga is based on the real-life story of Georgia Pitsiladis, the mother of young Panagiotis Vasilellis, whose tragic story forms the parallel dramatic narrative of the series. With more than thirty years of experience and a career that has moved comfortably between comedy and drama, Evaggelia Moumouri has established a distinctive presence in Greek acting. Rififi is among her most recent television projects and presents another, more dramatic side of her work as an actress.
