Michael Dressel

Michael Dressel is a veteran sound editor, Foley supervisor, and street photographer. Born in East Berlin, East Germany, he spent two years in Stasi prison in the 1970s after a failed attempt to escape over the Berlin Wall. Following his release and eventual emigration to the United States, he settled in Los Angeles, California, where he built a prolific, decades-long career in Hollywood sound post-production while simultaneously gaining recognition as an accomplished photographer.
