Myrto Daskaroli is a Greek Art Director and production design professional whose work spans feature films, television series and other audiovisual productions. Her work focuses on shaping the physical and visual environments in which stories take place, translating a director's vision and a screenplay into coherent spaces, settings and details that support both the narrative and the atmosphere of a production.Daskaroli has built an extensive career within the Greek film and television industry, working closely with production designers, directors and art departments on projects of very different genres and scales. Her credits demonstrate a particular ability to create and maintain a consistent visual language across multiple locations and environments, often working within demanding production schedules and budgets. One of her notable television collaborations came with 42°C, the eight-episode COSMOTE TV thriller directed by Giorgos Gikapeppas. Daskaroli served as Art Director throughout the series, working alongside Production Designer Mihalis Samiotis. The series marked one of the early major collaborations between the two and placed her within a production that relied heavily on its carefully constructed visual atmosphere. She subsequently continued her collaboration with Tanweer Productions on 17 Klostes (17 Threads), the acclaimed television drama inspired by the life and work of Marika Kotopouli and the historical events surrounding the execution of 17 people in Crete during the Second World War. Daskaroli worked as Art Director across the series, while also being credited within the Art Department as a coordinator. Her work formed part of the production's broader effort to establish a convincing historical environment. Her feature-film credits include Bastards (2022), directed by Syllas Tzoumerkas, where she shared Art Director duties with Mihalis Samiotis. The collaboration reflects the close relationship between Art Direction and Production Design in contemporary Greek cinema, with the two departments working together to create the film's physical and visual world.Daskaroli also worked on Murderer's Law (Ο Νόμος του Μέρφυ), where she served as Art Director alongside Production Designer Mihalis Samiotis and Set Decorator Maria Sarri. In an interview about the film's production design, Daskaroli described the challenge of maintaining visual coherence while creating multiple distinct spaces within the limitations of the production's budget. The film required the art department to transform a limited number of physical spaces into several different environments, making coordination and visual continuity particularly important. Her collaboration with Samiotis continued across a number of Tanweer Productions projects. She served as Art Director on The Suitcase, a feature directed by Dimitris Papathanasis and produced by Tanweer Productions, with Mihalis Samiotis as Production Designer. The film was released in 2026 and forms part of the company's expanding slate of contemporary Greek productions. She also served as Art Director on Last Call, the 2026 thriller directed by Sherif Francis. The film was produced by Tanweer Productions and features a production design team led by Mihalis Samiotis, with Daskaroli responsible for Art Direction. The film's setting, centered around a television station during New Year's Eve in 2000, required the creation of a convincing period-specific environment and a detailed recreation of the world of Greek television at the turn of the millennium. For Rififi, the COSMOTE TV / Tanweer Productions crime series directed by Sotiris Tsafoulias, Daskaroli served as Art Director, working alongside Production Designer Mihalis Samiotis. The series' production credits officially identify her as Art Director, with Agis Panagiotou responsible for Costume Design and Claudio Bolivar serving as Director of Photography. The collaboration on Rififi brought together a core visual team that had already worked together on several earlier productions.
