Every journey begins with a story.

Before playview.eu existed, there was a man constantly searching for the next experience. A game that would captivate him. A movie that would make him think. A series he would never forget.
Here you won't just find biographical information. You'll discover the story behind the nickname, my relationship with gaming, my professional career in eCommerce, the equipment I use daily, my favorite creations, and the philosophy that guides every article I publish.
This is my journey. Welcome!
When passion became a profession
Looking back, I find it hard to believe that it all started from a simple love for games. There was no business plan, nor the ambition to build a career around what I loved. There was only curiosity, the need to share my experiences with other gamers, and the willingness to create something that then seemed almost impossible for Greek standards.
The years that followed were full of challenges, opportunities, and moments I wouldn't trade for anything. Forums that became groups, Internet Cafes that filled with gamers, the first dedicated gaming servers in Greece, collaborations with major companies, trips to international exhibitions, and countless hours of work behind the screen. Each milestone had its own story, and each decision opened a new door.

- 2000
My mother's question back then was reasonable. "But really, can you get paid to play games?" And yet... it all started outside a club!
- 2001
Gaming servers, more than 100 Internet Cafes, my first international exhibition at ECTS London, and the beginning of a new era for Greek online gaming.
- 2002
A difficult decision, a new beginning, three new gaming portals, hundreds of Internet Cafes, and the E3 experience every gamer dreamed of.
- 2003
New partnerships and a new product, the Game Card!
- 2004
Every game has a point where the rules change. For us, that moment was the creation of Gameplay and the transition from security to ultimate responsibility.
- 2006
New challenge, GamersTV, international collaborations, and an unforgettable trip to Tokyo.
Traveling the whole world
The Biggest Loss Was Never Just a Save Game
Before you begin reading the stories from my gaming journeys, I'd like to share something a little more personal.
Almost none of the original material from the trips I made between 2000 and 2009 has survived. The reason was a catastrophic hard drive failure that happened shortly before I made the decision to leave the gaming industry altogether. If you've read about my journey, you'll better understand why that period became such an important turning point in my life.
